In Haiti, hunger is one of the biggest barriers to education. Many arrive at school without having eaten breakfast, making it difficult to concentrate, learn, and participtate in class.
At Rising Minds Haiti, we believe that every child deserves the opportunity to learn with dignity and hope.
Our school feeding program provides nutritious meals to students, helping them stay healthy, focused, and ready to succeed in the classroom.
For many children, the meal they receive at school is the only nutritious meal they will eat that day.
Why It Matters
A nutritious meal does more than satisfy hunger. It helps children:
